What We Do
ReForm Composites Engineering develops sustainable, high-performance construction products using continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) composites. Our mission is to make infrastructure lighter, stronger, and more recyclable by replacing steel and traditional FRP composites with corrosion-free, fully reformable alternatives.
Steel and traditional FRP materials face growing sustainability challenges. Steel corrodes and drives emissions, while conventional FRP cannot be recycled and often creates waste during production. RCE’s thermoplastic FRP products close that gap. They use recyclable polymers and continuous fibers to create structural components that can be reheated, reshaped, or reprocessed at end of life.
Our PolyDowelâ„¢ and ReFormBarâ„¢ products bring this technology to construction. PolyDowels replace steel dowels in concrete joints, eliminating corrosion and simplifying recycling. ReFormBar offers the benefits of GFRP composite rebar, now field bendable for easier installation and more versatile reinforcement.
Beyond products, RCE partners with builders and manufacturers to design and produce thermoplastic composite components for infrastructure and building systems. We help integrate CFRTP into projects that demand longevity, low maintenance, and reduced embodied carbon.
