What We Do
Boardwurks Biocomposites is pioneering the next generation of sustainable building materials through the transformation of purpose-grown natural fibers, reclaimed fiberglass, and agricultural residues into high-performance composite panels and products for the built environment.

Our mission is to bridge renewable resources and industrial recycling to create circular-economy solutions that reduce landfill waste, lower embodied carbon, and enhance material performance.

Our NattyBOARD® line features natural fibers such as Miscanthus, hemp, bagasse, and flax, all rapidly renewable, low-impact crops that deliver exceptional mechanical strength and dimensional stability. These bio-fibers are thermocompressed using low-VOC, formaldehyde-free binders to produce structural panels that replace traditional wood composites like plywood, MDF, and particleboard.

Our ReBOARD® family of products closes the loop on composite waste by upcycling reclaimed fiberglass from decommissioned boats, wind turbines, and industrial sources. Within this platform, DUC-Board™ (Dust-Under-Compression) represents a specialized category of panels produced from urethane foam dust — durable, moisture-resistant boards that outperform conventional foam or synthetic cores in marine, construction, and transportation applications.

By merging bio-based innovation with industrial waste valorization, Boardwurks delivers practical, scalable materials that help manufacturers and builders transition toward net-zero and landfill-free operations. Each product is engineered to meet demanding performance standards while dramatically reducing reliance on virgin wood, plastics, and mineral composites.

Our technology platforms include:

NattyBOARD® — renewable-fiber panels from Miscanthus, hemp, bagasse & flax

ReBOARD® — reclaimed fiberglass composites from marine and wind energy waste

DUC-Board™ — recycled urethane-foam panels for marine and structural cores

SuperHybrid — blended natural and recycled technical fibers (including FiberGRASS™ and CannaGLASS™) for hybrid performance applications

All Boardwurks products are designed with life-cycle circularity in mind: from responsible sourcing to end-of-life recyclability. We partner with agricultural producers, recycling operations, and advanced research institutions to develop regionally optimized “micro-plants” near feedstock sources, minimizing transport costs and emissions while creating local green-jobs ecosystems.

Our customers span multiple industries including architecture, interior design, marine manufacturing, furniture, and modular construction all seeking cost-effective, sustainable alternatives that don’t compromise on quality or performance.

At Greenbuild LAX 2025, Boardwurks will showcase new material innovations and product applications demonstrating how purpose-grown fibers and reclaimed composites can meet real-world industrial requirements. Visitors can explore physical samples of our panels, learn about ongoing collaborations with universities and corporate partners, and discover how Boardwurks materials integrate seamlessly into LEED, WELL, and circular-design projects.

Together, we’re redefining what’s possible in sustainable manufacturing — proving that the materials of the future are grown, recovered, and reborn.
